A silent tear for Franck Biancheri

Franck Biancheri was LEAP’s co-founder in 2005, Director of Research and Strategy until 2012 when he passed away, inventor of the method of political anticipation, and coordinator of the GEAB from 2006 to 2012. We dedicate this moment to him, on his birth anniversary.

Dear Franck,

We missed you for what would have been your 57th birthday. We know now that missing someone is not truly about how long it has been since we have seen them, or the time since we have talked. It is about those moments when we are doing something and wishing they were right there with us. But you taught us to be brave and always look forward, no matter what. We still miss your strength and guidance in our wills and actions. Failure and success kept you glowing and that glow still shows us the way. The way forward. And it always will…

Your friends, faithfully.

In September 2005, the LEAP Laboratory was founded by Franck Biancheri and Marie-Helene Caillol on an original method: “Political Anticipation”. Through its monthly publication, the GEAB (GlobalEurope Anticipation Bulletin) which is distributed by Editions Anticipolis, LEAP manages to reach out to tens of thousands of decision makers, academics, researchers and students. LEAP is financed only by the GEAB subscriptions. LEAP receives no other financing, public or private, international, European or national. This enables the GEAB analyses to be completely independent, a rare privilege amongst world think tanks and a guarantee of quality.
