3rd EuroBRICS Webinar: Political Anticipation applied to multipolar world challenges

LEAP is proud to announce that its next EuroBRICS Webinar on Political Anticipation will be held on Monday, 18.04.2016, 1pm CEST! Topic:

Political Anticipation applied to multipolar world challenges – Political Anticipation serving decision-making : Strategies and projects for a significant role of the Euro-BRICS Youth Platform in addressing multipolar world challenges.

After a first webinar aimed at introducing you to LEAP’s method of Political Anticipation, then followed by a session of anticipation of risks and challenges conveyed by the current global reconfiguration, the third webinar will invite members of the Euro-BRICS Youth Platform to present and discuss desirable and potential strategies for an impactful contribution of the Platform to addressing positively these challenges.

The floor will be open to three keynote speakers, active members of the Platform, to present bold ideas serving the above-defined purpose. Then a 45 minute discussion will follow. This webinar is meant as a direct preliminary contribution to the Euro-BRICS Week in Paris (which doesn’t mean it is restricted to Paris participants).

LEAP would like to contribute a first proposal building on Marie-Hélène Caillol’s presentation in the second webinar. In this presentation, Marie-Hélène insisted on the window of opportunity provided by the Indian presidency of the BRICS in bridging Europe and the BRICS. LEAP therefore estimates that, based on this understanding and the nature of the Euro-BRICS project and Platform, a large-ranging advocacy campaign in favour of the holding of a full-fleshed Euro-BRICS Summit, should be a priority for the Platform this year.

You will find more details here: Invitation EuroBRICS webinar 3

If you wish to participate, please send an e-mail @ vbaeyaert@leap2020.net, RSVP before April 14th.
