Tuesday 3 October 2017 – Brussels: Marie-Hélène Caillol et Giorgio Clarotti were invited by Konrad Fuhrmann et Catherine Vieilledent-Monfort (European Commission) on Radio Lingvistika for an interview on the issue: “European citizenship, how?”.
“Marie-Hélène Caillol and Giorgio Clarotti are alumni of the European Movement AEGEE (Association des Etats Généraux des Etudiants de l’Europe); The debate with them relates to the history of citizen movements, AEGEE and its role in the birth of the Erasmus program and citizen mobilization today. We talk about, among other things, citizenship in treaties and in reality, and the role of multilingualism for European democracy. We are particularly interested in the demand for transnational lists supported by several pro-European associations.”
